Will this work with a new MacBook Air 11"?
I currently use this cable with my mid 2010 13" MBP but thinking about changing to a 11" Air. Would this cable work on my 30" LCD with 2560 x 1600 resolution? Also I notice the 11" Air only has a Thunderbolt and not a mini DVI as per my MBP, would I need an adaptor?
Thanks in advance,

Would this setup work? Mac Mini -> Mini DisplayPort to DVI Dual Link Adapter -> DVI Dual Link to HDMI Adapter -> HDMI Cable to 1080p TV? 2560x1600?
Would I be able to get the 2560x1600 resolution out of my Mac Mini if using the following series of adapters...
Mac Mini -> Mini DisplayPort to DVI Dual Link Adapter -> DVI Dual Link to HDMI Adapter -> HDMI Cable to 1080p TV?
Or would the HDMI adapter downscale the resolution?
I intend on using my 32" 1080p HDTV up close as a monitor, and therefore require a high resolution. Is this possible?
Help will be greatly appreciated.- Asked by Luke K

Can someone from Apple please confirm if this product supports 330mhz pixel clock?
We are looking to use these for active stereo projectors running 1920x1200 pixels @ 120Hz refresh rate (which is about 308MHz pixel clock). Some other adaptors on the market only support 270MHz pixel clock (which gives us visible tearing in the image).

MiniDisplayPort to DVI Dual-link + Dual-link splitter?
Currently I have two DVI monitors (Dell 19", 1600x1200 each) connected to a dual link splitter on my desktop PC. I want to replace the PC with my MBP (2011) and drive both monitors as my primary desktop. Will the MBP see the splitter as two monitors the way the PC does? Or will it see them as a single larger screen? I'm concerned that it will see the monitors as a single screen and then my dock will end up split across the two.

My macbook (mid 2008) mini display port is bigger than the new mini display port plug, is there an adapter to get?
Trying to plug my 30" Cinema Display (late 2008) into my macbook and imac with this adapter, but the mini display port plug (male) is much smaller than the ports on my computers. Is there an adapter for the 2 sizes to work? Or did I just waist $100 on a plug I can't use?

Better to use this or a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adaptor?
I have a Dell U2711 with both DVI-D and DisplayPort inputs at 2560x1440. I have been using this DVI-D adaptor for about a month with a new Mac Mini. Works OK except that when the Mac Mini wakes up from sleep, sometimes the monitor has video snow and I have to power cycle it. (Yes, I am running 1.03 firmware).
There is a well-reviewed Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adaptor made by Altaz, on Amazon. Normally I would have bought this in the first place, but I was worried that it was not sold by the Apple Store. It's much cheaper with much better reviews than this product.
So should I try the Altaz adaptor? Is it better to go with Mini Display Port to DisplayPort rather than Mini DisplayPort to DVI-D? Is it a red flag that Apple does not sell a Mini Display Port to Display Port solution, but only the Mini Display Port to DVI-D product?- Asked by Lewis S from Berkeley
