how long can it lasts if the battery is charged fully? 3hrs or 7hrs? like the new macbook?

my macbook battery died after like a few years... i seldom use the battery though... if i buy a new battery, can it use for 7hrs like the new macbook or just 3-4 hrs like now?

Can I install this battery myself?

I have a Black McBook which I bought about 3 years ago. The battery is dead now. Does this Rechargeable Battery -13 inch MacBook (Black) can replace the old battery? Can I install it myself or do I need to take it to an Apple store? Will it last as long as the original?

Got a new battery for my 13-inch black macbook. I'm using it on a computer running on SNOW LEOPARD. Is there a way to adjust life past 2 hours?

On TIGER, you were able to adjust battery for BETTER PERFORMANCE, LONGER BATTERY LIFE, etc. but I can't find options like that on SNOW LEOPARD. I was under the impression that, while running solely on battery (no power cord) that the life expectancy was around 6 hours before having to be recharged but it's only running to about 3 hours. Is this a faulty battery or is there something you have to do, besides just replace the old battery, with the new battery? (do you have to calibrate or something? whatever that is ...)

I have a MB403LL/A MacBook, will this battery work for it and what is the model number?

I just recently received a MacBook from a friend and it needs a replacement battery. Just wondering if this would work, also I need a charger and I am not sure which one it is since I heard they switched chargers on newer models.
