Does this Nike Sensor work with iPad or iMac?
I have been using an ActiHealth pedometer from A&D Medical that wirelessly gives data to my iMac. Since I suspect that this subscription is nearing renewal, I am hoping that I can use your Nike sensor with my iPad or iMac. (I do not have an iPod or iPhone.)

Is it compatible with iphone 3G? (not 3GS)?
I see that only the iphone 3GS is in the compatibility list - I understand it has built in support for Nike + without the adaptor. But would the iphone 3G work with the sensor if I purchased the kit?

Does the sensor stream live results to the iPhone 4 or can results only be viewed at the end of a run?
My iPhone is strapped to my forearm with an armband. I want to know if I can view my progress by glancing at it or would I have to wait until I've finished?

Are the recievers sold individually? mine was stolen along iwth the ipod. newest nanos / shuffles need the reciever?

This is silly, but you have to run WITH the ipod/phone right? I've just bought the sensor to use with my iphone 4.. So I have to run with the phone..
--I'm a little worried about running with the phone. Will the constant up-and-down impact of me running hurt the phone in anyway? I just don't want to hurt my new phone :-)

will the nike+ sensor work with two ipods?
we have an ipod touch 3G with the built in receiver and the ipod nano 4th gen. but, we only have one sensor and receiver that has been used for the nano. can i use the sensor for the ipod touch if its not being used for the nano? i want to use it for my own stats and not for my wife's stats that she has built up.

Can you get the same nike+ website/workout tracking on the 5G nano without the adapter (white piece)?
Seems that many people have asked this question or at least a similar one but I've seen three answers; yes, no and perhaps.
I have a 4G nano now and thus must use both the adapter (the white thing that plugs in to your ipod) and the sensor (the one that goes in your shoe). I know you need the sensor regardless of which ipod you have. My question is twofold.
First, with the 5G nano, do I need to use the adapter to get my workouts recorded using the nike+ software or can the nano "talk" directly to the sensor? (Not looking for just the pedometer.)
Second, if I don't need the adapter, is the nike+ website tracking and all of that stuff the same as with the adapter. In other words, I like using the nike+ software and like the fact that it will track my workouts over time and that I can set goals so I want to keep that aspect of the training tool. Basically, if the "perhaps" answer to this question that I saw means that you don't get the full use of the software side of things without the adapter then I'll continue to use it.- Asked by Jennfer S from Dartmouth
