Does the newest edition of iPod nano come with everything needed for the Nike to work?

The main page advertising for the newest iPod Nano shows the Nike exercise app as part of it. Is it built-in, or when i buy the new iPod Nano will I have to pay extra for the Nike + iPod sensor to get it to work as a pedometer?

Do I need to purchase the Nike+ app or will it come w/the sensor?Trying to figure out everything needed for this to work on my Itouch 4th and cost.

Basically I am trying to make sure that I do not get this product thinking I just need to pay $19 and then find out I need to purchase other things to make this items work. It is a 4th Generation Itouch.

Does the ipod nano (7th gen) need the receiver as well or is it already built in?

Will i need to buy the receiver to plug into the bottom of the Ipod Nano 7th Gen or does it come with it build in because i see the Nike app is on there.

Does the Ipod nano (6th gen) need the receiver, or is it already built in?

I have the 6th Generation Ipod Nano. I'm wondering if I need the Receiver for the Nike+ Sensor, or will the Ipod sense the Nike+ Sensor when I buy it and turn it on?

Also, Does the 6th Generation Ipod Nano even need the Nike+ Sensor and/or Receiver?

Do you have to have a computer to set it up and use it or can you just do everything thought your iPod or IPhone

I don't have a Mac or pc. Do I have to purchase one just to use the Nike + iPod stuff

Can you get the same nike+ website/workout tracking on the 5G nano without the adapter (white piece)?

Seems that many people have asked this question or at least a similar one but I've seen three answers; yes, no and perhaps.

I have a 4G nano now and thus must use both the adapter (the white thing that plugs in to your ipod) and the sensor (the one that goes in your shoe). I know you need the sensor regardless of which ipod you have. My question is twofold.

First, with the 5G nano, do I need to use the adapter to get my workouts recorded using the nike+ software or can the nano "talk" directly to the sensor? (Not looking for just the pedometer.)

Second, if I don't need the adapter, is the nike+ website tracking and all of that stuff the same as with the adapter. In other words, I like using the nike+ software and like the fact that it will track my workouts over time and that I can set goals so I want to keep that aspect of the training tool. Basically, if the "perhaps" answer to this question that I saw means that you don't get the full use of the software side of things without the adapter then I'll continue to use it.

Does this Nike Sensor work with iPad or iMac?

I have been using an ActiHealth pedometer from A&D Medical that wirelessly gives data to my iMac. Since I suspect that this subscription is nearing renewal, I am hoping that I can use your Nike sensor with my iPad or iMac. (I do not have an iPod or iPhone.)

why doesnt my nike plus ipod track my distance?

Ipod touch 3rd Gen wont track the distance i have run, the pace meter and timer work fine but it wont track the distance.

Can I use the Nike+ Running app with the Nike+ shoe sensor or does it only work with my phone's accelerometer? I'd prefer to use the Running app.

I have an iPhone 4s and just bought a new pair of Nike Structures'. I also bought the Nike + iPod Sensor. However, I intend to do running workouts almost exclusively. Is there a way to tie the Nike+ Sensor to the Nike+ Running app instead of having it report to the Nike + iPod app?
