Is the Nike+iPod kit dedicated to one iPod; we've several Shuffles (of all generations), couple Classics and one 2nd generation Nano?
Before I get the Nike+iPod kit, I wanted to know if it has to be dedicated to a particular ipod or if it can be mixed with any of the bunch provided you use the sensor and receiver when you go out for the walk/jog/run. One kit or more?

Does nano 6th generation need a receiver and/or a sensor?
I have a nano 6th and bought the nike+ipod kit. For the first couple times I ran with the receiver and the sensor but I accidentally found the nike+ system works just as fine without them; it still records all my runs with all the data. I am just confused if I hav been using it correctly because it does not seem right.

How do i sync a second iPod so i can use either one and both record to the same Nike + data file.
I just received a new iPod and would like to use either Nano with my Nike + iPod Sports Kit. How do I sync the transmitter (shoe part) with the new Nano? I would like to see all my results on the same Nike + web page. Is this possible?

Does this add any functionality to the 7th-gen iPod nano?
The seventh-generation iPod nano that Apple announced today has tech specs which list it as not requiring the receiver that plugs into the dock connector of other iPods and older nanos, nor does it require the sensor that is inserted into Nike shoes.
I'm curious how the new iPod nano tracks distance and pace if it doesn't have the shoe sensor. So to ask clearly, does the new iPod nano (announced October 2011) replace all of the functionality of the Nike + iPod Sport Kit? How does it work? Thanks!- Asked by Jackson H from Avon
