How do I connect an old Apple Cinema Display (2002) to a PowerMac G5?
Please let me know what adapter I need to use. The display is the older, clear plastic frame Apple Cinema Display from 2002. The connector from the display is the large, oval shaped connector. Someone at Apple told me that I would need a mini DVI to VGA adapter AND a mini display port. When looking these both up, they do not seem like they will work. Please advise.

can i connect my sky+ box to an apple screen instead of a TV?
We would like to replace our TV with an Apple cinema screen. Would we still be able to connect our Sky+ digital TV box and our DVD player to the Apple screen as we would with our normal TV?

what cable do I use from an imac to a HDMI port on my HDTV that is 6 feet away?
I am a newbie to the mac world and have just ordered an imac 21.5 in . I have a Sharp HDTV with open HDMI input port that I want to use to display streamed Netflix movies. I have a DVI cable that I use on my old computer to dual display the monitor on the HDTV, but would rather use HDMI if I can.
