i have a imac 2ghz intel core 2 duo hdmi adapter and a samsung bx2231 LED HD monitor. i would prefer to use HDMI, but anything will do. thanks!

What cable do i need to connect an Imac core 2 duo to a hdmi projector
Is vga the same as hdmi?! I have no idea so I don't understand wether I'm meant to get a DVI - VGA adapter or one (that doesn't seem to be available) to hdmi?! Also because my Imac is a core 2 duo not a core duo I've been led to believe I can't get one to work with mine at all...?!
Really need some help with this as I'm sick of ordering the wrong cables and having to wait 15 days for a refund... :/- Asked by Marlon M
