Does the Nike Fuelband measure steps or activity? If you are a very active person that uses a manual wheelchair will it measure this activity?

Can the Nike+ Fuelband be used around an ankle to better monitor activity?

I've been reading good reviews on the current model, however I have been curious as to why Nike chose the wrist over the leg/ankle. As a competitor bodybuilding, I'm beginning my cardio stage and would enjoy improved tracking of my workouts. This doesn't seem helpful when arm movement is measured, especially on leg workouts, etc. I was considering the extra large model, but it does not state the diameter size. Does anyone know if this can be used on an ankle? Thanks!

does the device record your activity while horse back riding,ie, calories burned, etc

can i wear it on my ankle?

im not aloud to wear jewlery at work so if i put ot on my ankel tomhide will i still get the same results?
