My iHome iD99 is not charging iPhone 4s. How do I fix it?

When I try to charge the phone on the dock it tries to charge and then quits making the beeping charge tone over and over. How can i resolve this issue? Please let me know.

if my iphone 4s is plugged in through the usb port will it still play over the usb

i have am/fm app on ipad 3rd and i pod 3 Can the app work as alarm clock so i get am radio if docked or not. Same with iphone4s. The slim i pad

I have app radio stations on my i pad 3rd slim gen, And i pod 3rd i phone 4s.
Can these app work on the id99 as alarm clock to wake up call/ ararm clock or just listen too. from the i pad3 gen slim & i pod 3gen & i phone4s

Is this device rechargeable?

Is the device portable? Can I take it to a party, plug in my iPad, and listen to music without plugging in this device???
