does the jack fit on the iphone 4s bumber? because on some cases it wont go all the way through because they are too thick

Does the in-line switch on the iPhone comparable cable control the volume of the device?

It looks like it just has one control button, and no up and down buttons for the volume, yet all the web sites that describe these headphones say you can adjust the volume from the cable switch.

Can I listen without noise cancellation, or does the on/off switch only turn on and off the headphones?

I usually sleep with headphones in (with no noise cancellation). I just want to be able to hear people knocking on my door, or my alarm clock going off...
