Can I connect the P9233 to a Time Capsule for additional storage space? Our time capsule is out of space. We have an iMac and a Macbook Pro. Thanks

Can the P9233 be powered by USB port to the Macbook? Or does it need an external power cable to the power socket?  Thanks

Can I use this with time capsule and also stream my iTunes and iPhoto to IMac, iPhones, Air?

Currently I have my music and photos stored on several locations but would prefer it stored in one location and update all devices when I add/remove items.

I use my time capsule as a backup storage unit.

When this is full can I plug another into my computer without having to remove the full one? I'm looking for a kind of "linked" system?

I'm looking for a storage solution - I'm a photographer so constantly move client images from my mac to external devices to save the memory on my mac. However I have several external hard drives floating around and forget whats on each device. Is there some way I can link all the drives together and search them from my computer without having to unplug one and plug in the next one every time I'm looking for files?? Thanks so much.

Is this truely an addressable (read write) external drive or is it only addressable by backup software such as time machine?

What's the difference between the 9233 & the 9230? There's about £45 difference in the 2tb models at the moment, & i can't see the difference. Thanks

connecting two in series

I want to use two La Cie external hard drives, the first baccking up my mack and the second providing backup to the first. Can this be done by simple connection in series?

Can I use this with a windows PC? I want a hard drive specifically for video and iTunes. Will usb3 work on a PC with only usb2 connections?
