Is it possible to use indesign on an iPad?

This year, the newspaper I'm working for is having some budget issues and we are borrowing computers but have more people than computers. In order to increase productivity, we received a grant that gave some editors iPads for various reasons. It would be very helpful If there was a way to edit pages on an iPad

Does the macbook air have enough memory to be able to load and operate adobe indesign on it?
