Is the scheduling controlled by the app or the micro controller in the device it self.
I would like to use it to control aquarium lights. So if the scheduling is controlled by the app on my phone there could be a problem.

is there a way to control central a/c & heater?

In case of a power outage will the WeMo keep the last state it was in. I.E if it was on will it stay on after the power outage is over.
I want to use it to be a remote reset for my IT gear when I am away from home.
