Will Jam work with GarageBand '11?

I am asking this bc I am about to buy GarageBand '11. I want to be a better Guitar player so I am asking if Jam would work with the New GrarageBand.

Can it work with an electric drum set?

I was wondering if it can connect to an electric drum se because I am a drummer and I would like to make music on garage band for iPad and on my Macbook Pro.

apogee Jam guitar input (will it function with a macbook pro) or will i have to purchase additional software or plug ins either for my electric guitar or macbook or is it plug and play ready with the Guitarband that my macbook came loaded with

How do you power the iPad if you are using the Apogee JAM?

What is the work-around, since both the power connector and Apogee JAM require the iPad Dock Port?

Will this work on my MacBook Pro with an electric cello?

I'm getting a Cecilio electric cello, but I'm wondering if I'll be able to use this to connect it to my MacBook Pro (13'') and record my cello on Garageband?

4th Gen iPad & JAM - buy now with 30 pin adapter or wait for native lightning version of JAM?

I've just ordered a 4th gen iPad. From the other answers here I'm assuming this will work fine with JAM as long as I have the lightning to 30-pin adapter, but all the questions I can see here on that are for the iPhone 5 - I'd assume this would be the same for the iPad but would like to check. Alternatively, are Apogee planning to release a native Lightning version of the JAM? If thats coming I can hang on for that...

Will the apogee jam work with I pad 2 running iOS 5?

I have see reports of problems with the apogee jam and ales is io dock, but don't know if they have been fixed.
