Is this compatible with the Lightning to 30pin adapter used on the new iPhone 5 and iPod Touch 5th generation?
Before purchasing I'd like to know if this is going to be able to work with the iPhone 5 through either a 30pin adapter or a direct Lightning cable adapter.

Will the Apogee jam work with iphone 5 and a 30 pin dock convertor ?
I know that the new iphone 5 comes with a much smaller "Lightning" connector. I am wondering if I can upgrade from iphone 4 (where the apogee jam works flawlessly) to iphone 5, get a 30 pin dock connector and be able to use garageband as before.

4th Gen iPad & JAM - buy now with 30 pin adapter or wait for native lightning version of JAM?
I've just ordered a 4th gen iPad. From the other answers here I'm assuming this will work fine with JAM as long as I have the lightning to 30-pin adapter, but all the questions I can see here on that are for the iPhone 5 - I'd assume this would be the same for the iPad but would like to check. Alternatively, are Apogee planning to release a native Lightning version of the JAM? If thats coming I can hang on for that...

How does it differ from JamLab?
Sorry I used the wrong name (JamPack) in my initial question.
I have a Jam Lab device that I have used to connect to my new iMac and Garageband. Would this new device work in a better way?

Is there a quality or latency difference between the Jam and the Duet or Duet 2.
I plan on recording guitar with this, but want to get the best quality sound and the least latency. I am using this only with a mac book air, not an ipad or iphone, but want to know if spending the extra money is worth it.

What makes this interface better than the Line 6 mobile in, iRig, or Guitar Jack?
I bought the new iPad primarily for recording music specifically guitar. What makes this interface better than the Line 6 mobile in, iRig, Guitar Jack Model 2, or the other guitar inputs being sold now? The new iPad will be my first apple device other than the iPhone4s. If anyone has any experience with any of the interfaces I mentioned please explain how they perform on the iPad and the GarageBand app. I am very excited for the Jam session feature on Garageband and want the best IF I can buy.
