Do these now work with the iPhone 4? Last pair did not shut off the bottom microphone, picking up distracting noise.
It was particularly bad when I put the iPhone 4 in my pocket during calls; it picked up all sorts of friction noise that, I'm told, was very loud on the end. Otherwise, I like the Bose earphones very much.

Does this type of jack work with Lifeguard case
Since most apple products require a premium price ; will this product successfully work if my 4s is protected by the most expensive case - life guard ?
