Does this fit a 17-inch mac book pro?

I know it says that it fits a 17-inch, but when I ordered it and got the confirmation email it says "HURLEY - TWEED BACKPACK, 13/15-USA" so now I'm thinking it might not fit. Anyone have a 17-inch with this backpack?

will i be able to carry my 16 inch PC in this?

i am thinking about getting a 16 inch Toshiba. And, I might need a bag to carry it around with me. So, I wanted to know if this would work out for it.

I am a teacher and I carry a lot of weight. I tend to destroy backpacks in 6 monhts. Will this hold the weight and not break straps or tear?

Looking at this bag for school. Is there a pocket that would hold my iPad nicely? Or would it just be loose in the bag?

is there a rubber bottom to protect from water?

I want to make sure if I set this bag on the a wet floor my laptop is okay. I had a backpack with a rubber bottom; saved my books a million times.
