    Yes you only need purchase the one copy. The following text is pasted directly from the Microsoft company store site:- "Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Business 2011 includes a license for a single user for installation on two Macs."

  • Yes if you buy the 2011 Home and Business edition. You have the ability to install on 3 separate systems.

  • Yes, that's the exact example that their license agreement states - a 'fixed' computer and a 'portable' computer. You do need the 2-pack though because the 1-pack is for ONE computer.
