Will Time Capsule allow backup of our MacBook Pro with OSX 10.4.11 prior to upgrading our operating system?

    Yes, Time Capsule will allow the backup. Of course, your OS X 10.4.11 does not contain Time Machine software, so you will be using Disk Utility or third-party software to perform the backup.
