will this work with the 5th generation nano in a 2009 scion tc with the factory ipod cable?

I have a 2009 scion tc with the factory installed pioneer deck and ipod cable. I have a 5th generation ipod nano. When connected to the car cable, I can play music, but my ipod doesn't charge. Will this adapter fix this issue?

    Yes it will work. I have a 2006 Scion TC, its the same cable. I got the 5th gen Nano with camera and it works just fine, and charging.
