Will this work for the enV touch

Regular headphones make the enV Touch display, "This headset has no microphone. You will have to unplug before you can use the microphone in the phone." I plugged in my friend's iPhone headset into my enV Touch today, and it did not display the message. I did not do a test call on it, but I am guessing that it could probably work with an enV Touch.
