Will this adapter make my 4th generation ipod nano compatible with a firewire connection on Sony MHCEC79i ?

Is there any adaptation available so that I could use a Sony MHCEC79i or a Sylvania Imode SiP1005 to charge and play my 4th & 5th generation ipod Nano?
