Just to clarify this for everyone. Beolit 12 will not create it's own network, nor is it a Bluetooth unit. If you are on the go and want to use the unit wirelessly you can create a "Hotspot" using your Apple iPhone and the Beolit 12 will connect to your own created network from your phone. Wirelessly you will achieve up to 4 hours use but connecting a cable to your iPhone or other iPod will wive up to 8 hours playback.

  • If you want to connect on the go there are a couple of options:

    1. If you carry a MiFi or similar Personal Hotspot with you, you could connect your iPod/iPad/iPhone to that network with the BeoLit 12.

    2. You also have the option of connecting to your iPhone on the go if you have the Personal Hotspot option directly on your iPhone from your carrier.

These are at least 2 ways without a cable that you could connect when on the go, just be sure you setup and select the Personal Hotspot Network Profile on the Beolit 12 before you head out.

  • No - the wireless feature requires a dedicated network connection. But the Beolit can also connect directly to the source via USB, ethernet or RCA mini-jack.
