Will iBank 4 import my data from Quicken 2003?
I have a reliable old emac that I am retiring for a shiny new imac. We have been running ALL of our personal finances on Quicken 2003 (actually we go back to 96) and are considering a move to iBank. Can we export our data smoothly from one program into the other?

So long as any version of Quicken (whether on Mac or PC) allows you to export your financial information to a standard file format (QIF), you can import it to iBank. This data should carry over your accounts, transactions, categories and investments. (It's important to note that the latest version of Quicken for Mac, Quicken Essentials, does not offer this export capability.)
To make the process even easier, iBank 4 has a set-up assistant to help import your Quicken data smoothly. For more information, you can review the short tutorial video on transferring data from Quicken to iBank at the IGG Software website.
