why do my head phones not have the plus or minus sign?

    There are two different versions of this product. One of them is the iPhone headphones that only has a Mic and clicker but no volume controls. Then there are this version where they added on the Volume controls. You may have picked up the iPhone headphones and that is why you don't have a volume control on it.
