Which headphones work with the Spin?

I tried to plug my headphones in, and they do not work with the Vestax Spin. I also read up on the Spin and it seems as though it has a soundcard and should be ready for any headphones; plug and play, right? Upon reading thru some threads, it seems as though I may need a soundcard. But which one? Do I simply need a certain type of headphones? I have the current imac and my software is up to date.

  • If you are using standard headphones (with the ¼" phono jack), you might need to adjust the volume with the knob that is located right next to the headphone jack located at the right side of the front of the Spin.

If you are using USB headphones, you may need to adjust your settings in djay preferences.

  • This unit has a sound card. You need to adjust your preferences. People often forget to set Djay correctly with spin.

    Any head phones should work

  • I didn't have any problem with whatever headphones I chose. There are small slide switches that you should check before going all soundcard. good luck.
