The latest model, MC340LL/A, is optimized to the final 802.11n wireless standard and works with all certified 802.11a, b, g, or n products. It provides better performance and range than any older model. It has Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band 5GHz and 2.4GHz, important to realize, as the iTouch and iPhone are currently 2.4GHz devices.
The other models named were previous "draft n 2.0" wireless base stations. However, the MA073LL/A was the oldest, did not include Gigabit Ethernet, or dual-band capability.
While the MB053LL/A did include Gigabit Ethernet, it did not have simultaneous dual-band network capabilty - it can be setup to provide either a 5GHz network or a 2.4GHz network.
MB763LL/A included Gigabit Ethernet and had dual-band network capabilty - can be setup to provice both a 5GHz network and a completely separate 2.4GHz network. The two networks will have different names and use different channels.

At UTC Apple store all on shelve have the # MC340LL/A Model A1354.
I was told this is the new one by 3 people in 2 different days.
Bought one and double checked, the old ones since Monday have new price $159 and were at the back of the store.
