What if I have an ANCIENT copy of Quickbooks for PC and want to transfer all of the data to the latest version?

Someone told me I had to purchase every upgrade version to do this. Please say it isn't so.

    You will need to upgrade to a more recent version of QuickBooks for Windows to upgrade your file before converting to QuickBooks for Mac. QuickBooks for Mac imports files from QuickBooks for Windows 2010, 2011, and 2012.

    If you call QuickBooks Support they should be able to upgrade your file to a newer Windows version for you.
