For South Africa, you'll need a 3 round pin plug adapter with holes to take a uk 3 square pin plug.
The South African plug /adapter will have 3 ROUND pins to plug into SA sockets . You can purchase these adapters onine in UK. Sorry, I cant help re Zimbabwe but check online for Zimbabwe electrical plugs

You can take this 10W Power Adapter: The Brick, its Australian Plug and AU Extention Cord, but you will need to buy a Korjo Adapter For South Africa and a Korjo Double/Adapter For Great Britain for Zimbabwe.
Also purchase the Korjo Double/Adapter for Europe as both countries do use these plugs as well.

I bought the Apple World charging kit but there doesn't seem to be any adaptor for use in South Africa.

You can buy the appropriate plug adaptor for Africa and just use the power adaptor that came with your iPad or you can buy the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit, part # MB974ZM/B
