You should contact your ISP and go with their recommendation for the simplest ADSL2+ modem they can provide which features one Ethernet port for connection. If they don't offer any modems with just one ethernet port and no built in wireless, explore the websites of other ISPs and consider their recommendations. iiNet recommends the Open 622 or the Belkin F5D5730au. Internode recommends the NetComm NB6Plus4, as examples.
When talking to your ISPs staff, let them know the Airport supports PPPoE directly, and so a "Bridge-only" modem would be excellent.
Different ISPs have different recommendations, based on their own experiences with which models work most reliably and with the best performance on their particular equipment.
