Volume controls work? with the itouch 3g

was looking to buy these In-ear Headphones have good reviews but i see that on the i-phone 3g that the Volume controls dont work.. will not not work on the i-touch 3g to ?

    yep it works on my 32gb 3rd gen ipod touch
