this camcorder receives such polar reviews. is low light that bad with this camcorder?

It's pretty rough. Pushing it to f1.8 and 1/80 is about as crazy as you can get. Anything slower than that and you get horrible quality. Pushing the white balance up is also crazy. Tons of grain and artifacts. In controlled light this thing is killer. I have three of them...
