this cable work with mac book pro 2009

I bougth to day this adapter but I can se nothing on my tv. that wor like I have to screens. and I don have audio . what I can do

    You will need to buy separate cables for audio to work. Audio is not supported through HDMI for MacBook Pros before 2010.

  • For video carrying, yes. The 2009 mac will not carry audio. To transfer audio you will need a separate connection via aux output on the mac.
