Please confirm if the USB side will connect to the existing Ipod USB allowing a connection to a mini port, or if the USB side is for computer only?

My vehicle has an existing USB port, but it is a mini.
I am trying to find an adaptor that will attach to the USB side of my current Ipod cable. (the other side into the device) - which will then allow me to plug my ipod into the mini.
From the product description, it is not clear if the USB side of this kit is USB-A or USB-B.
IE - If the USB side in the kit is only good to plug into the computer, then it will not work for me.
