Is this drive bootable from Mac OS X via FireWire 800?

Not all FireWire 800 drives are capable of booting from Mac OS X. Can anyone confirm if this one does. Thanks in advance.

  • I would ask the folks at G-tech. I own an older G-Drive (which boots via FW 400 or 800) and an older G-Raid which at raid 0 boots as well. I have always found the folks at G-Technologies to be very knowledgeable so I would call them and ask to be certain before buying. Variables like Intel or PPC and OS X version come in to play.
