Is this an MLC (Multi Level Cell) or SLC (Single Level Cell) type of SSD?

All SSD you see on the market are MLC, SLC would cost 4 times the amount... and SLC's don't go as high has 512 GB yet. The only negative about MLC is that they only last 10 years.
