Is this an IR only remote station? or does it also have UHF remote capabilities?

The Bell HD PVR comes with a UHF Remote (as opposed to an infra-red remote) that makes it quite handy if you want to hide your PVR inside a cabinet or behind a wall, making your TV install very clean. Does this product only broadcast IR signals into the room or is there a UHF antenna as well?
