Is the sound output way louder than the iPhone 3G sound output?

I recently bought a small speaker system and the loudness of my iPhone and the speaker was the exact same. So, I want one that will be able to reach a great volume limit. Is this product a good one for high volume?

    I don't know how load the iPhone 3G can go, however I really doubt that it can play as loudly these and that its quality of sound is as good as these.
