Is the scanner and/or scansnap software compatible with "Neatworks for Mac" software?

I hear good things about the Fujitsu s1500m but am pretty much sold on the "NeatWorks for Mac" software...
It's a simple program that organizes everything for you and has an user-friendly Mac interface and works with "Address book" etc (It's a simple looking digital file system for the "focus-challenged" people:)
I know people have used it for the model s150m, but am unsure about the s1500m.

Thanks for any input.

They used to work together really well, until one day an update broke it. Now multiple page documents (even double-sided ones) are recognized by NeatWorks as individual independent documents.
You'd think there would be a merge feature in NeatWorks, and there is. However it can only combine two documents at a time. Imagine the work!
I have been updating both NeatWorks and ScanSnap Manager in hopes that the issue is fixed, but nothing. I contacted NeatWorks support and they said it is not their fault. I am now looking for alternatives to NeatWorks.

  • I just started using the S1500M with NeatWorks. So far, they have worked well together. At first, I had a problem of having each page in a multipage document recognized as a separate file. I fixed the problem by going to the NeatWorks Scan menu and selecting combined under the ADF section.
