Totally depends on your insurance company and if your son's doctor writes a prescript for it. Then discuss your childs need for the device and authorize the Apple store for payment using your HSA card with your insurance company. You could pay for it and send in a reimbursement claim. I called my insurance company in advance and they authorized the charge after my doctor sent them a form indicating my need for a more advanced BP and pulse monitoring system. It was cheaper then having a nurse come out for two weeks to do the same thing. The world is evolving so I wish you the very best and keep the insurance companies working for you and your family.
