Is that compatible with iphone 3g

i am thinking of buying it so only if its compatible with iphone 3g

    It is compatible with the iPhone 3G as in you can listen to music, use the microphone for calls and the button stop and skip tracks. The only feature that isn't compatible with the iPhone 3G is the volume controls, for that you will need to do that directly on your iPhone 3G.

  • Everything will work, except the volume control. You can play, pause, skip music and answer calls.

  • The previous answers are now a little out of date. As long as your 3g is running software later than iOS 3.1.2, the volume control will work just fine. Apple just need to update their web page. However, for the same money (or less) there are better earphones around.
