Is it true there is different version of Dr dre Beats studio as the one made 2008~2011, like the tiny marks/parts difference on the Box and headphone?

Is it true there is different version of Dr dre Beats studio as the one made from 2008/2009/2010 and recently 2011, like the tiny marks/parts difference on the Box and headphone?For example ; different cable use and maybe different letter on the Box. The one i brought, the box says 2009, and compared with the one my friend brought recently the "Studio" words on the bottom left of the box ,mine have "u" his with "U" a u with tail and U without tail, Also his Studio came with Tune it up Manuel, which I don't come with one, and his Headphone don't have "Recycle , FCC, etc marks" print on inside by Right cup. but mine have it. And our cleaning cloth are same size but the logo tag are in different place. I am sure both Studio are real things, so Was wondering is are they all different regarding the years of it was made? maybe adjust for counterfeit?

    Do not fear, your headphones are not fake, atleast based on what you've said... there is in fact a difference between the 2008 and its actually the 2010 edition of studio headphones. if you put on your friends headphones you will notice that the ear cups are a bit different as the drives will touch your ears in the new version where as in the older version they will not. also the plastic used in the new studios are a bit different as they are stronger as well as the hinges are a bit stronger as monster has made quite a few changes to their products. never the less, your head phones are still great, i encountered the same problem with my white and black studios as they were the different years, but this is no reason to suspect that your headphones are fake! hope this helps
