VooMote Zapper Universal Remote Control for iPhone/iPad/iPod touch
Product No Longer Available
If you plug it in to an iPad, will it work in landscape mode (as well as portrait mode)?
My brother is disabled and uses his iPad for everything. But he only uses the iPad in the Landscape orientation. I'm wondering if this device will work in that direction. (it would mean the device would be pointing at 45 degree angle to the cable box instead of directly at the cable box).

Yes the iPad app will adapt whether you hold it landscape or portrait. You can also drag the remote control from the middle either to the right or left to make it more comfortable to control. The VooMote Zapper has 4 IR blasters that blast from all different directions so the 45 degree will be no problem and you should be able to direct your cable box with no issues. We look forward to any more questions or comments and we hope that the VooMote Zapper makes your brother's TV experience even better.

The VooMote Zapper works in landscape and portrait mode on the iPad. The Zapper uses 4 built in LED's to control your devices and will work even when plugged into an iPad, which is used in landscape mode. So your brother will have no problem using the Zapper.
