if I buy 2 x 6TB 2big Thunderbolts, what do i buy to do the daisy Chain? an extra 2m cable?

Correct, you simply connect the 2 x 6TB thunderbolt drives together using the second thunderbolt port on the first drive. For fastest performance and size, you simply format both drives (all 4 disks) in a RAID-0 array and you should get upwards of 500 MB/s and 12 TB. If you want to sacrifice some speed and space for redundancy, format in RAID-10 (each unit is RAID-0, but both units together form a RAID-1 array). This will basically make the second unit a mirror of the first.
