I would also like to know if it converts the current as well, I know in the UK I think they use 240 and we use 120, Can't remember for sure though...

    No, it will not. This is just a plug adapter. But you should check the appliances that you plan on using overseas - many things (like laptop chargers, etc) are actually able to run on a wide range of voltages. Look on the adapters and see if they say that they run on 120v only (I'm presuming you live in North America, since you wrote "we use 120") or if they run on 110-240v. If it's multi-voltage, then this plug adapter will be fine for you. If it's 120v only, it will not.
