i have ifitl dsl which means no modem, i have a mac osx 10.6 and just got the ipad 3 which router is best for me?? it has to be easy to install
i was given a Belkin Pre N router but read mixed reviews and really want something easy to install and low packet loss.

Yes, there is no modem required for IFITL DSL, but the installation by your ISP should have a wall plate which allows you to use a a standard CAT5 cable to connect into the ethernet port of the Extreme Base Station.
Once the cables are connected, switch on the Extreme Base Station, then go to Spotlight on you Mac OSX 10.6, search for Airport Utility and connect to the AirPort Extreme Base Station from there (by following the prompts). It took me 5 minutes - but most of it was just thinking of passwords for the network. And it all seamless connects using 802.11n.
