Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic

i have an ipod touch 8gb (1st generation) .. would the Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic work with my ipod???

    No, the 1st Gen does not support any type of microphone as far as i am aware.
    The 2nd gen supports the remote and mic earphones but the 1st Gen does not support using a microphone.

  • it works, all you need is ios 3.1.3 which can be purchased on itunes store just search on google "ios 3.1 itunes store"
