The original Mac: Office 2011 press release stated the Multi-Pack will come with two installs for a user with two machines. If you read into "a user" you would think that only one machine can be used at a time. I contacted a Microsoft support for Mac products, Pre-Sales Representative (1-866-474-4882) she stated that the 2-Pack can be installed on two machines with separate users, accessing the software at the same time. However, I still cannot find any written information stating the same on any of Microsoft's websites.

  • No you dont. All you have to do is do a transfer from your mac that has the software to the one that doesnt. Mac to Mac transfer and just pick what you want to transfer over and what you dont.

  • Yes, so you would need to purchase the 3 license edition of the product you choose.
