I have a dell PC with windows xp home service pack 2, with at & t DSL with a little black modem, will it work with windows xp service pack 2?

The PC is stationed in the kitchen. I am very nervous about setting it up, I dont want to lose my internet connection, I rely on it heavily for my online classes. will I need any numbers or codes? or do I just plug it in & turn my PC on?

    No, it's quite clear:

"PC with Windows XP (SP3) or Windows Vista (SP1) or later, CD drive, and Ethernet or wireless networking capability"

Instead, the previous generation Extreme will work for you, as will the current MB321LL/A AirPort Express.
