No, the software on the CD is just AirPort Utility and if your MacBook has recently run Software Update it should already have everything it needs to setup Time Capsule's wireless networking.
If your version of OS X is Leopard or Snow Leopard, you already have Time Machine installed.
If your version of OS X is Tiger, it does not run Time Machine so you would backup by using the Restore feature of Disk Utility. Open Disk Utility and refer to Disk Utility Help.
If you get your new Mac at an Apple Store, store personnel will be happy to properly transfer your data for you if you bring the old MacBook along with you. It would be wise to already have left a backup at home, just in case you need it later. After a week or so of using your new Mac and making certain all the old data properly transferred and is usable, then you can dispose of your backup.
